Mixed-Use Building in Jacó

Three stories on the beach, with deep foundations, reinforced concrete columns, an elevator, galvanized steel welded on site and a pool with a spa.

The project

Structural design with deep foundations and reinforced concrete columns. Elevator shaft planned from day one. An integrated steel structure adds strength and flexibility. Built by our own crew of concrete, welding and formwork specialists.

Progress

Structure, roof, facade, pool and interiors complete. The entrance is done; only final details remain.

Industrial

Treatment Plant

Location: La Garita, Alajuela
Type: Industrial
Status: Completed

A structure dug 4 m into the ground, built with double walls and waterstop-sealed cold joints every 1.2 m to keep it watertight.

Work performed

We excavated 4 meters and poured a 30 cm reinforced concrete slab as the base for the structure. #4 rebar was placed and a double-wall system was built for the concrete pours.

Watertightness

Formwork went up in 1.2 m lifts, with a cold joint at each lift sealed with waterstop, repeated up to the full 4 m height. We also built the wastewater treatment channel that is part of the plant's system.
